A: Your gift/legacy is limited only by your imagination and legality. Legacies such as flowers on special occasions, candy, liquor, spa treatments, concerts, and vacations to a favorite location are examples of gifts that are well received. Other gifts, such as providing a monthly stipend for a grandchild while they are in college, are also greatly appreciated.
Q: How much does a legacy gift cost?A: Our fees are based on the actual cost of the legacy/gift. Q: How long will the legacy last?
A: That again, is up to you. You determine the term of the contract. It can be a one time gift or once a year for twenty years.
Q: What if the recipient dies before the gift/legacy is fulfilled or exhausted?
A: The remaining funds in that account can be donated to a charity or given to a person designated by the giver in the contract.
Q: What happens if the recipient moves?
A: At the time of the notification, we will verify addresses for the recipients and upon receipt of the gift we will ask that we be notified of any changes (addresses, names, etc.).
Q: What if the recipient wishes to terminate the legacy?
A: If the recipient finds it too painful to receive the gift, we will respect their wishes and immediately terminate the contract.
Q: What guarantee do I have that this service will be performed?
A: Upon completion of the contract, the Executor of the Estate will be notified of its completion, and provided a copy of the contract which will include the date of fulfillment and details of the agreement established by the giver.
